The Company

This successful business has grown during the Pandemic and has ambitious plans to grow further in 2021 both by acquisition and additional revenue streams, but the Finance Director can’t do it on his own! He’s looking for a driven No2, a Commercial Financial Controller to get involved.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll support the Accounts Manager in supervising and developing a small finance team.

Responsibilities include;

Business partner non-finance specialists in the business, interpreting their operational narrative to derive forecasts.

Building models, looking at “What if” scenarios, and sensitivity analysis to aid key strategic decisions.

Responsible for producing the monthly management accounts, providing commentary and analysis around key metrics.

Maintain and enhance the controls within the Finance Department.

Weekly sales and cashflow forecasting.

Complete and submit quarterly VAT returns.

The successful candidate

Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with experience of business partnering key stakeholders.

Intellectually curious, possessing strong business acumen.

Previous experience of budgeting and forecasting.

Strong IT skills, MS Excel in particular.

Self-motivated, genuine desire to add value and progress.

In return

Salary of £47,000-£53,000 (depending on experience).

23 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Offices commutable from Chippenham, Cirencester, Cricklade, Devizes, Faringdon, Marlborough, Malmesbury, Royal Wootton Bassett, Swindon.
