The MD/Owner has built a close-knit team with the same passion and values. This small SME has ambitions to grow and is ready to recruit its first qualified accountant, a Commercial Financial Controller with the desire to become the future Finance Director.
The Challenge
The Commercial FC will manage, develop, and coordinate the day-to-day finance resource and business partner the MD, supporting directionally for long-term strategy and day-to-day decision-making.
The MD is looking for support in navigating some significant milestones. You’ll influence operational performance, ensure opportunities are identified and pursued if appropriate, and risks mitigated.
What are we looking for in you?

Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with demonstrable commercial experience;

Knowledge of the Food or Logistics industries is valued and relevant;

Experience of day to day management & coordination of a finance function in a fast-paced SME;

Strong communication skills at all levels;

The commercial experience to assist in driving the business forward, whether it is in the thick of it or as a sounding board and team player.
