“Hello?… Is anybody listening?”
Is your employer paying lip service to proper risk management?
Or maybe you’re not afforded the independence or resources you need to drive the risk agenda and deliver the vision?
If you’re an experienced leader in Risk with a track record of driving change, then this platform could be yours.
Have your voice heard. Make a difference.
While the foundations are there, you’ll be working with a reasonably blank canvas to support the business in defining its appetite and shaping the way the company manages its risks.
You’ll have clear support from the Board and resources to build an effective team to properly embed the risk management framework, enhancing the identification, process and controls to mitigate risks.
This is a large FTSE 250 business. No area is out of bounds. As Director of Risk & Assurance, this is your baby, a pivotal, newly-created leadership role to make your own.
Change is expected. The company has a thirst to build a “best in class” effective risk management framework that addresses all 3 Lines of Defence.
It won’t always be easy. You’ll need engaging interpersonal skills to take all cohorts of the business with you.
You’ll have the independence you’ll need to affect change, reporting to the Audit Committee Chair.
Your future? With you onboard, robust foundations assured, this business will continue to grow and scale; you’ll be looking at being the No1 in Risk & Assurance for a FTSE100 business that you’ve helped shape.
It’s not there yet. It needs you on the team – your valuable skills are sought.
