The Challenge
Following the recent appointment of the Finance Director, the company is embarking on a transformation and digitalisation programme to build a “best in class” Finance function that supports the business’s ambitious growth plans and become a data-driven organisation.
Forming one of the core pillars of the business, you will provide insightful and timely financial reporting and analysis covering all aspects of the group’s operations, including;
Developing and maintaining financial reports, rolling forecasts, annual budgets;
Building robust working capital models to underpin the Vision 2027 growth strategy;
Providing critical business partnering support to leaders throughout the business, with timely financial and non-financial data and analysis, to support decision making and drive business performance;
Supporting the FD in the due diligence of future acquisitions.
What are we looking for in you?
Professionally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with experience of business partnering key stakeholders;
Intellectually curious, possessing strong business acumen;
Previous experience of budgeting and scenario-based forecasting;
Comfortable with technology to manipulate data; prior experience of Power BI reporting is relevant and valued;
Ability to constructively challenge and offer different perspectives;
Experience of continuous improvement and its application is desirable.
