The challenge;

This stand-alone Finance Manager role has full responsibility for the finance function for the charity and shop. Maintaining the financial integrity of the data and timely production of reports.

This is a broad role, amongst others, responsibilities include;

  • Preparation of management accounts

  • Budgetting and forecasting

  • Day-to-day Bookkeeping; including purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations.

  • Management of the monthly payroll and quarterly VAT returns.

What are we looking for in you?

  • Part/fully qualified AAT, CIMA, ACCA or qualified by experience.

  • Prior experience or knowledge of Sage L50.

  • Strong IT skills, including confident use of MS Excel.

  • Prior finance experience of a sole-role, or a position of responsibility for an SME or Charity.

  • Thrives on being the “go to” person for Finance.

  • Takes pride in deliver quality work on a timely, accurate basis.

  • Confident communicator; ability to engage at all levels including management.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; happy to work individually or contribute to a multi-disciplined team.
