This B2C media business activities include eCommerce, app development, content creation and subscription products.
The Challenge
As Financial Accountant (FTC, 6-12 months negotiable) you’ll report to the Finance Director and act a conduit between the business (including a point of contact for the European entities) and the Group Parent company, a hugely impressive name with a global brand.
You’ll support your peer, the Finance Manager who is responsible for managing the transactional accounting team and ensuring the integrity of the data, in supporting the monthly financial reporting process, facilitating information requirements for both the local/European teams and the Corporate Accounting team at Group.
Whilst this contract is covering a permanent role, the Finance Director will focus on the permanent hire later in the year once his current project workload eases. As such, the successful hire can be considered for the permanent position if this is of interest, but is by no means a condition for the interim contract.
The successful candidate
Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Qualified by Experience (QBE) with relevant financial reporting, process and controls experience;
Effective communication skills, partnering with the wider business;
Highly organised and effective at managing own workload
In return, you’ll receive
Fixed term contract; flexible term, between 6-12 months to suit the candidate;
Competitive interim salary, £48,000 – £60,000, plus benefits, commensurate with experience;
- flexible hours; typically 9-5.30pm, equally 8-4.30pm is fine;
- hybrid; minimum of 3 days office based;
25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and additional closure Christmas week;
Open plan offices in Bath city centre, modern, air-conditioned, with showers available on site.
