The newly appointed Finance Director is looking for a qualified accountant to assume full responsibility for running the day-to-day finance team.
As an experienced finance professional, you’ll recognise this as a classic Financial Controller role; responsibilities include;
Drafting the management accounts for review by the Finance Director;
Day-to-day management of a small finance team, including sales order processing;
Produce regular reports, including cash flow forecasts, financial MI and performance against sales targets;
Ensure the integrity of the accounts, including VAT, PAYE and balance sheet reconciliations;
Maintain the Fixed Asset Register;
Liaise with the External Auditors at Year End to support the smooth production of the Annual Accounts.
Does this sound like you?
Commercially-astute, qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA);
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Experience in managing others;
Able to work in the Pembroke office 2 days per week (possibly with overnight stay), 3 days from home, e.g. 2.5 hrs from North Bristol, 2 hrs from Newport, 1hr 15 from Swansea, 1hr from Cardigan.
