Are you a number-crunching maestro with a passion for thrilling live events?
From the comfort of your sofa, you can picture yourself at Harry Styles’ electrifying concert in Wembley, cheering on Manchester City as they clinch the FA Cup, or witnessing Frankie Dettori’s last triumphant win at Royal Ascot.
In this newly-created Head of Finance (No1) role, it’s your turn to make these exhilarating events come to life.
Working with the newly-promoted CEO, you’ll have the power to influence operational performance, evaluate exciting opportunities, and keep risks at bay.
But that’s not all! You’ll receive a comprehensive handover from the trusted external accountant, who has been juggling the numbers as a part-time FD, supported by one of his Practice colleagues.
Now, it’s your time to take charge of the financial aspects of this successful SME technology business, internal and group reporting and making sure HMRC is happy!
In this hands-on role, you’ll oversee two UK subsidiaries with a combined turnover of approximately £10m. Your lovely team comprises a qualified management accountant and a transactional support, and you’ll have regular interaction with the Group CFO in Japan.
We’re eager to have you on board ASAP, but if you’re a unique superstar, we can wait until we know the winners from the Snooker UK Championship, The World’s Strongest Nation, and the Cricket World Cup.
Now, let’s talk about what’s on offer;
A competitive salary ranging from c.£75,000 to £85,000 (depending on experience), possibly up to £90,000, you’ll also enjoy a tempting bonus, equally matched pension contributions (up to 6% ER/6% EE), and free-to-use electric vehicle charging points.
Need to work up a sweat? The on-site gym and showers have got you covered.
Plus, you can save the environment and get fit with the cycle-to-work scheme.
Oh, and forget about working through the Christmas period ever again! You’ll receive 25 days annual leave (including 3 days to cover the Christmas closure between Christmas Day and New Year’s Day), not to mention public holidays.
We’re a flexible bunch, so hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days in our Thatcham office suits us just fine!
Don’t worry if your CV is not up-to-date. You probably weren’t in the market for a new role! If you’re a qualified accountant with a track record of having previously delivered in an ambitious SME business, send what you have, or message Natalie Wells on LinkedIn to get the ball rolling.
