This business is entering a huge growth phase; having successfully completed a funding round, it has the potential to grow by 50% per annum over the next 3-5 years.

As such, the leadership team will be focussing on delivering this growth and requires a commercially minded Management Accountant to support the Finance Director in achieving this aim.

The Challenge

This Management Accountant role has primary responsibility for delivering the Management Accounts and Financial reporting. Ensuring transactions in the business are reported accurately in the accounts and assuming responsibility for the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function.

The Finance function is small, comprising of the Finance Director and as such, the role will require a hands-on approach.

This hands-on role will enable you to get to know the business inside out and provide you with the opportunity to progress as the company continues to grow.

What are we looking for in you?

* This role would be a great fit for a part-qualified management accountant;

* Previous hands-on experience gained in an SME environment;

* Confidence and ability to present financial information to a variety of stakeholders;

* Effective communicator, comfortable working with teams across the business;

* Proactive approach with a desire to succeed;

* Able to use own initiative;

* Problem solver, curious nature;

* Highly proficient in MS Excel (essential), experience of Xero is a bonus.
